Dot Net Developer

Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a DOT NET Developer with Microsoft SQL Server SQL/PL-SQL knowledge. Role

The DOT NET Developer designs, develops, test and implements web based and data-driven applications and components. This includes the user interface, middleware and database access layers. Supports and/or installs software applications and components. Works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines and process to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

The DOT NET Developer reports to the Delivery Manager

Requirements
Must Have

• Around 4 years experience working as a software developer with good SDLC knowledge
• Demonstrable experience in building scalable web applications in an enterprise environment using Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010, DOT NET framework 3.0/3.5/4.0, and C#/VBDOT NET
• Demonstrated working experience in XML, JQuery, and ADODOT NET
• Demonstrated working experience in AJAX Toolkit, CSS, HTML/HTML 5, and JavaScript
• Experience in client-server model, object orientated principles, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science preferred
• Demonstrable experience in building the design documents, test cases based on the requirements

• Demonstrated experience in relational database technologies and SQL/PL-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience in designing the relational database

• Experience in IIS 6.0/7.0
• Able to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Undertake other work as may be required by the Development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective consultation skills to identify customer requirements and the related development effort required
• Experience in documenting programming code and application specifications would be a significant asset
• Strong ability to work effectively in a team/ collaborative environment
• Good oral/written communication skills
• Experience in working with Off-shore development team
