Our client has a requirement for a Bilingual Project Administrator for a 12-week contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa.

Requirements
  • Coordination of two accommodation move projects which would include setting up the project by preparing a comprehensive project plan (with identified activities, deadlines, milestones, etc.), executing, monitoring and reporting regularly on the projects and their status
  • Assisting in negotiating project details (e.g. contact details, organization charts and contractual details)
  • Providing project management and administrative expertise in the management of accommodation projects, including strategic planning and analysis
  • Overseeing the set-up and maintenance of project management tools as required to support the projects
  • Conducting research and analysis with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Liaising with management on matters of mutual interest
  • Providing input and recommendations to management in support of the projects
  • Planning and developing accommodation management strategies and/or projects
  • Developing, in consultation with the manager and communication services, a comprehensive accommodation communications plan, communiqués and updates to keep management and clients informed of the moves
  • Providing accommodation/facilities management advice and services to clients
  • Consulting with internal and external clients on accommodation projects
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with established standards and client requirements

Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent project administration experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent project administration experience with the federal government
 
Education
  • Secondary school diploma is required
  • Degree in Project Administration from a recognized post secondary institution or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience is required
