Our client has a requirement for Database Analyst for a 3-months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Mississauga.

Requirements or Qualifications

Manager needs this resource to assist in setting up a database infrastructure for their routine reporting.
The individual would primarily be involved in designing, developing, testing and debugging their existing reporting environment and would establish a robust process for them.

• Review, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database(s).
• Identifies data sources, constructs data decomposition diagrams, provides data flow diagrams and documents the process.
• Writes code for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
• Manage organization wide data policies, security and standards using SharePoint.
• Provide leadership in selection, use of data administration standards, tools, etc.
• Provide expertise to multiple projects.
• Provide guidance on new and emerging data administration concepts. Implement corporate data standards and monitor their use.
• Use specialized tools and techniques to maintain the data model. Analyze data and structure into objects.
• Data warehousing,
• Advanced MS Access 2010 (Access SQL, VBA macros etc.)
• Intermediate SQL for adhoc queries, experience in building macros.
• Advanced Excel 2010 (Pivot tables, advanced functions, formulas)
• SharePoint
• Banking/Financial
