About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Development Systems Support Analyst for a 4 months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Requirements or Qualifications

This group is currently working on moving one of their data center to another location and must upgrade the OS (currently Windows 2003, must be upgraded to 2012 on the virtual server before the move can begin.

 

Responsibilities

• Installation of multiple application on the new virtual server.
• Supporting development and Quality Assurance (QA) environments.
• Provides application, development, and QA environment support to the project development team in order to ensure that system support is maintained during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Installs and configures system software to meet the requirements of the project design.
• Documents the final system configuration and installation procedure of the development/QA environment in order to make sure the Systems Design Document is current.
• Monitors performance and availability of hardware, services, application, and cycle processes to ensure that the development environment does not impact the project schedule.

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Banking background
• Expertise with Windows 2008&2012 OS
• Familiar with virtual environment (VMware)
