Our client has a requirement for Business consultant for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. These positions can located be located in Toronto.

Role
One of our hiring managers is looking for a Business Consultant with Call Centre Expertise to join their team for a 6 month contract. This group currently has a help desk with 7 members who use an Access database to track incoming tickets. Their goal is to turn this help desk team into a proper Call Centre (they will only be increasing the headcount by 3-5 people). The project requires this individual to come in to document and evaluate their current processes, identify deficiencies, evaluate selected software and help build a knowledge base for support analysts
 
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working with complex information systems and develops or modifies existing systems through analysis of business and user needs.
  • Under supervision, coordinates detailed business requirements while identifying and tracking business systems issues.
  • Research and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle methodology utilizing reporting tools, requirements gathering methodologies, process models, data models and prototypes.
  • Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.
 
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Consultant/ Subject Matter Expert
  • Call Centre Expertise
  • Experience working in the financial industry would be beneficial, but is not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics prior to escalation.
  • Knowledge of cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment and quantification methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability in the following methods: interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, business object modeling and user interface design.
  • Working knowledge of Access Databases.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Organized with strong time management skills
