Business Development – Account Executive

Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking a Business Development – Account Executive . This role will be responsible for developing and driving their territory’s sales strategy, identifying and qualifying leads while consistently closing business on a monthly basis in order to meet sales quotas in the staffing industry. In addition, the Director, Business Development will be responsible for consulting with clients, identifying requirements, presenting technical information in easily understood terms and develop relationships that meet/exceed customer needs.

Key Roles
  • Research customer prospects
  • Marketing calls – connecting with 10 clients a day
  • Client presentations
  • Book initial client visits
  • Identify key decision makers in current and potential clients
  • Expand current client accounts’
  • Respond to RFI RFP RFQ

 Manage Existing Accounts
  • Develop existing clients by increasing use of contract & permanent staffing solutions target 8 or more requirements per month
  • Arrange contract for consultants represented by Zylog
  • Arrange perm placement for candidates represented by Zylog
  • Follow up with consultant or candidate at client site
  • Position expanded Zylog portfolio to key stakeholders in accounts

 Sales Activities
  • Size clients and industry’s to provide recommendations /solutions to business challenges through the use of contract & permanent staffing services.
  • 5 customer visits a week to get details of hiring process and needs
  • Coordinate between Zylog process and client hiring process
  • Represent client internally and provide the coverage for requisitions
  • Conduct final candidate screening prior to submitting 20 to clients and closing 2 -3 deals a month
  • Understand , explain and negotiate client contract and ensure non standard client MSA are in line with Zylog corporate policies
  • Complete the on boarding process ie Placement Summary
  • Ongoing follow up with client to detail satisfaction and ongoing business

 Sales Conduct in the Marketplace
  • Conduct all sales activity in accordance to Zylog corporate standards
  • Document all sales activities using our CRM tool
  • Use internal process and programs to initiate account development (Talentflow , CRM , Account plans, etc)

 Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
  • At least two (2) years sales experience. A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
  • Knowledge of project based team staffing.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of IT industry and business climate.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to be flexible, diligent and professional.
  • Ability to comprehend and then articulate technical and legal jargon in easily understood terms.
  • Ability to learn and add value quickly.
  • Capable of maintaining a sense of urgency and goal orientation.
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Desire and motivation to help build a world-class organization.
  • Ability to negotiate with clients on rates and legal contracts.
