Job Description
Our client has a requirement for Java developer for 240 days contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa.

Requirements or Qualifications

• The proposed resource must have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience as a Programmer/Software Developer .
• The proposed resource must have a University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience within the last ten (10) years programming in Java in a J2EE environment.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years working with Rational Software Architect or Eclipse.
• The proposed resource must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience within the last ten (10) years programming using Weblogic.
• The proposed resource must have worked on at least one (1) Java application project in an environment that connects multiple public or private sector organizations through secure portals.
• 10+ years programming in Java in a J2EE environment.
• 8+ years programming using Weblogic.
• 6+ years experience has experience within the last ten (10) years with web application development using two or more of the following technologies:
• Spring Webflow
• Spring MVC
• Java Service Faces (JSF)
• Java Server Pages (JSP)
• DOJO
• 7+ years experience within the last ten (10) years working with SQL
• 5+ years experience within the last ten (10) years working with Hibernate.
• 5+ years experience has experience within the last ten (10) years working with Spring framework.
• 5+ years experience within the last ten (10) years working with one of the following version control systems: SVN or CVS.
• 4 projects experience working on a Java application project in an environment that connects multiple public or private sector organizations through secure portals.
