Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Data Services Developer for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in London, Ontario.

Role

This role will participate in the implementation of robust, fault tolerant ETL processes using the Business Objects Data Services platform to support master data replication between the client's back office systems and the front end Customer Engagement and Green Button platforms.

The successful candidate will work with our development partners as well as the internal team to implement the data integration layers of our application infrastructure. Candidates must be comfortable with and have demonstrable experience in the following areas:

Requirements or Qualifications

• Business Objects Data Services
• Database Schema Design
• Oracle PL/SQL
• Unix Shell Scripting
• Oracle and MySQL Databases

Qualified Candidates will have

• Design and document ETL processes
• Develop and unit test ETL processes in Data Services
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data
• Evaluate process performance and identify optimizations
