About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Software Developer, for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON

Role

One of our Financial Services clients is looking for a contractor. The team is currently working on the development and deployment of an tool that will act as a simulated operator for key tasks such as data entry and financial transactions processing. The contractor will be responsible for assisting with the deployment and development of the user interface (scripting and programming).

Requirements

• Computer Science Degree, Diploma, or equivalent -Microsoft Office VBA Specialist with a focus on Excel VBA -Several years experience using VBA with (to control):
• MS Office versions 2003 to 2010
• Windows XP and Windows 7
• Win32 APIs
• Adobe Acrobat Standard/Professional and Adobe Reader -Internet Explorer 8 and 9 -OpenText (Hummingbird) Host Explorer -Familiarity with the following would be an asset:-Document Direct (for Windows) 4.4
• Customer Connect
• Optimizer
• VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office)
• Banking Experience is an asset
• French is an asset
