Summary

As part of the Client E-Commerce and Multi-channel IT team and reporting to the Project Manager, E-Commerce & Multi-channel, the Business Analyst / QA Analyst will support the Online Marketing, Sales & Operations multi-channel initiatives by preparing business requirements, specifications and process flows, understanding and documenting business processes, conducting user acceptance testing, logging and addressing issues related to program changes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute quality assurance and user acceptance testing for new, existing and modified systems
• Effectively analyze and document business and user requirements, process flow and functional specifications
• Participate in transitioning the requirements to the design and development team (in-house or third party) and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
• Translate requirements and use cases into test scenarios and scripts for integrated and user acceptance testing
• Participate in quality reviews for deliverables produced by the team
• Serve as a liaison between business users and the IT department
• Participate in a user and task analysis to maintain the business community's perspective
• Provide user training and support for new, existing and modified system
• Work with technical analysts and support teams to document, prioritize and resolve issues

 Requirements

• Relevant College/University education in computer science, business or relevant discipline
• 2-3 years experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience with retail store systems, e-commerce and multi-channel integration in software development project environment
• Ability to write functional system specifications and to analyze and design business processes
• Ability to develop product requirements, test scenarios and scripts based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously
• Superior communication skills in both French and English
