Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a JDE Consultant on a 7-month contract.  The opportunity is located in Calgary.

This request for a resource is for an ongoing upgrade from E1 8.1
to 9.1, the person must be able to hit the ground running through to Go Live.
Customer is currently into Testing phase, and is expected to Go Live with their Upgrade in Oct 2013.

Contractual Responsibilities of this role are as follows:

• Work together with colleague team members and key Application Consultant stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved application configuration.
• Work together with colleague team members and Resources application support team to identify opportunities for improved custom El applications.
• Work together with colleague team members and application support team to identify opportunities for improved application integration.
• Complete application acceptance testing for the above.
• Define user acceptance criteria and test plans for the above and work together with colleague team members to facilitate delivery of testing results by coordinating and supporting test efforts of business users.
• Facilitate delivery of all changes to production.
• Provide status updates as required.
• Assist with risk identification and risk management as required.
• Escalate issues of significance to team lead.

Requirements or Qualifications:

• Software Application and Version #: JDE EnterpriseOne v8.0 and above. Would be useful if knowledgeable on v9.0 and v9.1
• Undergraduate degree
• Graduate degree or professional designation an asset
• 2 - 5 years relevant work experience
• Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions for clients
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work effectively with other in teams
• Ability to communicate, interact, and cooperate with clients
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
• Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving
