Our client has a requirement for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect for a 6 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

Our trusted Financial Services client is looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect who will be working on projects to provide solutions design

Responsibilities 

• Provide support and proactively contribute to the maturation of data management at an enterprise level
• Be responsible for logical and or physical modeling of data, making recommendations to improve data quality, adhering to industry best practices and standards for data quality.
• Contribute to the design and development of a data architecture management practice.
•  Define specifications, technical requirements, systems performance objectives and ongoing assessment of architectural strategy

Requirements or Qualifications

Must Have Skills:

• Proven experience in Data Stage and ETL as well as UNIX, SQL and RDBMS
• Expert knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, data dictionaries and MetaData
• Oracle DB2/SQL

Nice to have Skills:

• TOGAF Certification
• IBM Infosphere Data Stage
• Financial/banking industry experience
