Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Part Time Project Manager (2 days a week) for a long term contract.

Requirements

• Experience Level – 5 to 7 years
• Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis with regard to time, budget
• Manage the project, with the collaboration of the project leads;
• Define the project management strategy and approach adhering to PMO guidelines
• Develop and maintain the project plan including project assignments;
• Plan, organize, and control the activities and resources of the project team and report on the team’s progress;
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on project performance (budget, cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and issue) and financial status;
• Maintain overall change control procedure;
• Ensure that the project work results are compliant with the stated requirements, priorities, and strategies of the project;
• Manage the relationship with the external providers and review performance;
• Manage project status and report project progress to project team and senior management;
• Communicate project progress and directions to the project team, and Sponsors;
• Raise project issues and risks, as well as quality and scope deviations and escalate as necessary
• Weekly progress report meetings
