About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Data warehouse Architect for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• 3 Projects are underway and manager needs additional resource to complete.
• Provide support and proactively contribute to the maturation of data management at an enterprise level adhering to industry best practices and standards for data quality.
• Responsible for the TD Insurance conceptual, logical and sometimes physical modeling of data using a TD-prescribed enterprise data model.
• Contribute to the design and development of a data architecture management practice, including participation in change management activities with the development teams.
• Also participates in a wide range of projects - covering operational systems as well as analytics
  As the data architect, responsible for designing the data models, mapping approach, assessing data quality, defining specifications, technical requirements, systems performance objectives, etc.

 

 Requirements Or Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, data dictionaries and Meta Data.
• Concrete experience in using data modeling tools (PowerDesigner or Erwin).
• Familiar with architecture frameworks and tooling involving all architecture layers.
• Proven experience in ETL as well as SQL and RDBMS. SOA experience is required
