Description

The Business Technology Service Division within our client is seeking an Oracle Portal Developer to help lead the Design/ Development activities for eServices Portal project. This role will provide detailed design, development, test and support activities including understanding and translating client business requirements into functional and technical documentation and understand existing applications’ architecture and functionality.

 

Responsibilities

• Establish WebCenter Portal Design for eService Application
• Prepare/review SDLC deliverables to ensure they meet project objectives.
• Implement WebCenter Portal solutions for eService Application
• Coding, testing and deploying software according to the specific requirements and deliverables.
• Develop new/modify existing data models and/or application logic in order to implement new business processes or to correct/enhance existing applications
• Handle complex programming assignments involving integration with third party hardware/software applications
• Assist with the review, analysis and resolution of WebCenter Portal issues
• Interface and coordinate with other teams whenever required
• Developing / updating build books and configuration guides
• Providing knowledge transfer to client’s staff
• Following Kan-Ban methodology

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

Must have:

• Minimum 3+ Experience designing, developing and delivering applications using and administering Oracle WebCenter Interaction Portal 11g/10g
• 5+ years of hands on experience with architecting/designing/development of Java/J2EE based portal applications
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience with ADF application implementations or J2EE platform and Portlet/Inter portlet communications
• Must have strong working knowledge and experience with Web Center SPACES
• Proven experience with core platform technologies Weblogic, Oracle SQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML
• Strong Object Oriented implementation skills using Java and J2EE (EJB, JDBS, JMS, JSP/Servlets) on Weblogic and IBM Websphere servers
• Hands on experience in ADF Business Components including customization of default ADF behavior, ADF faces, Templates, CSS, HTML.
• Ability to resolve critical project issues by working effectively with Oracle support and Client’s technical team
• Ability to lead technical team and present best practices/point of view effectively
• Experience in developing / implementing test strategies (Module-, Integration- User-Acceptance and Stress-Test).

 

Nice to have:

• Experience with development technologies such as Alphinat
• Previous experience on responsive design/applications for mobile platforms.
• Agile/Kanban project delivery methodology experience, including leading Standup/SCRUM sessions with project teams
• Ability to interact and collaborate with other IT teams including application development, testing, operations, security and compliance and project management office as well as business customers and external vendors
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
