Job Description

Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Cognos Developer for 3 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years COGNOS experience required. This is a mandatory pre-requisite.
• Oracle
• Sales force CRM
• Ability to work independently, manage one’s time and deliver to a plan.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
• Competent in modifying and maintaining COGNOS frameworks and reports through framework manager and the various reporting studios.
• Preferable if the candidate has worked in the Financial Services sector.
• Advanced communication skills.

Education/Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years COGNOS experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Modify existing COGNOS frameworks and reports.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate all things COGNOS related and determine scope and limitations.
• Review reporting and framework requests describing user needs to estimate time required to accomplish deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
