About the Job
Our client has a requirement for a Project Control Officer for a 6 months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Requirements or Qualifications
  • The person would have prime responsibility for the data entry of JIRA tickets (service requests into a service request tool), reporting and working with the dev/support mgmt team to ensure all work is assigned. There would be other reporting type tasks related to incidents and financials.
  • Emails are sent to team (distribution lists), take the info from the emails and put it into a tool called JIRA – Service request tracking tool. Requests vary from system enhancement, new requests, troubleshooting, etc,
  • Must be strong with data entry and reporting.
  • Carpe/Clarity – need to enter ticket number on each CARPE
  • Coordination with multiple parties and requestors & follow up on tickets.

Qualified Candidates will have
Must Have:
  • Financial institution experience * 3 yrs
  • Excel – Macro* 4 yrs
  • CARPE/Clarity * 2 yrs
  • Financial budgetary planning experience * 4 yrs
  • Managing Budgets * 4 yrs
  • Microsoft Project * 4 yrs
  • Powerpoint * 4 yrs
  • Project Management * 4 yrs
  • SharePoint * 4 yrs
  • Support the forecasting * 4 yrs
  • Coordination * 4 years
  • Understanding of basic technical terms
  • Excellent Communication skills

Nice To Have:
  • Resource planning experience – 2 yrs
  • System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – 2yrs
  • Experience with onshore/offshore resources
  • Knowledge of JIRA (Tracking tool used mainly for issues tracking by client)
