Job Description

 Our client has a requirement for an experienced Warehouse Receiver. This is a permanent role located in Kanata Ontario.

Duties

• Ensuring the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments.
• Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting
• Inspection of incoming shipments to verify contents and quality
• Strong inventory management and maintaining vendor relations with shipping companies
• Prepare receiving dock to accept incoming product
• Match product with purchase orders
• Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned.
• Verify received product expiration codes  

Other Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Working experience in Shipping and Receiving
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Knowledge of filling out waybills and bills of landing and international shipments.
• Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.
