Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Systems Test Specialist for a two month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Role

 The Systems Test Specialist (STS) will perform both systems integration and system functional/non-functional testing for business registration systems.  The role will consist of identifying defects, establishing all information required for further review, diagnosis and resolution of issues. The STS will be required to communicate their findings with other test team members, UAT, developers, and user management.

Requirements or Qualifications

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in systems integration testing
• Strong hands-on experience in system functional testing and non-functional testing
• Knowledge and experience with business registration systems
• Knowledge of testing methods in the object-oriented environment
• Comprehensive experience with XML, web services and SOAP UI
• Experience with documenting and searching with Rational ClearQuest
• Proven ability to reference various documentation including use cases, test scenarios, and package update documentation
• Clearly identified troubleshooting experience
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
