Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Test Automation Specialist (Regression Testing Automation) on a 7-month contract term.  The opportunity is located in Calgary.

Synopsis: seeking a qualified individual to assist in the development of regression testing automation and development of processes and standards for script maintenance, user support, test data management and automated regression testing using HP Quick Test Professional.

The Test Automation Lead would be also be responsible to mentor the Shared Services Test Team on automated script development and maintenance using HP Quick Test Pro and HP Quality Center.

Requirements or Qualifications

• Three (3) to five (5) years test automation experience
• Proficiency in developing/maintaining scripts in Quick Test Pro
• Experience in upgrading Quick Test Pro would be an asset
• Sound knowledge of object repositories, standard & custom checkpoints, parameterization, and user defined functions, recovery scenarios, descriptive programming and VBScript
• Proficiency in Visual Basic or VBScript
• Proficiency in Quality Center workflow development and administration
• Experience with HP Load Runner is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• University degree in Administration or Commerce or Engineering or Computer Science or other post secondary education
