Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a .Net Developers for a 24 Months Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Requirements

• Experience with Web Based Applications
• Experience with .Net4.5 platform, Winforms and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Strong development background in C#
• Strong experience with Object oriented design (OOD) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• Experience in developing and maintaining the integrity of the code
• Experience with .NET code and create functionality according to specifications
• Experience with Code documentation and processing
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and will be expected to analyze and understand complex requirements, design, develop, implement and test solutions, and contribute to the evolution of the application architecture. Specifically
• Experience with MS Visual SourceSafe (VSS)
• Experience in code analyzing, reviewing and modify services by maintaining, documenting, testing, developing, and monitoring
• Strong knowledge of data storage technologies especially SQL Server
• Experience with Client/Server Architectures
• Experience in handling server-side task
• Experience with Active Server Pages (ASP)
• Ability to write valid Restriction Statements
• Experience with Code documentation and processing
• Experience with JQuery – JQuery UI, HTML 5 – Canvas/SVG, SignalR and CSS3
• Knowledge in KineticJS library a plus
• Understanding of Multi-threaded and Asynchronous application design
• Strong automated testing discipline; familiarity with continuous integration and test-driven development a plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of direct work experience as an enterprise software developer.
• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated
