 Our client has a requirement for an Open Text Content Server Specialist/Technical Lead for a Contract to Permanent opportunity.  This position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role
 Our client is seeking an Open Text Content Server Specialist / Technical Lead to join their Solutions Delivery Team in Toronto. The Content Server (Livelink) Technical Team Lead provides leadership and support services for the expanded implementation of the Content Server (Livelink) application. This role will be based in their Toronto offices.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and support businesses process development
  • Work with other information architect roles, including enterprise-level information architects, data integration architects, infrastructure architects and application architects
  • Assist, contribute and coordinate requirements and design discussions with clients as necessary
  • Assist, contribute and coordinate presentations to clients and user groups to display the application and train users
  • Look for opportunities to add value to document management processes of client with additional Content Server (Livelink) modules or features
  • Produce documentation that adheres to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and procedures including requirements, design, testing and training documentation for Content Server (Livelink)
  • Lead the Analysis, design and configuration of Content Server modules to support the solution architectures
  • Design and development of Content Server Workflows, Reports and Forms
  • Design and configuration of Open Text Security and Permission framework to support identified Roles and Responsibilities
  • Functional and system integration testing for software upgrades, customizations, patches, etc.
  • System administration activities including Content Server (Livelink) monitoring and reporting to ensure maximum uptime, availability, and security controls
  • Customize the Content Server (Livelink) Application Programming Interface (API) using Content Server (Livelink) Builder
  • Develop content migration plan from one or more sources to new environments and design the required interfaces
  • Identify and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in coordination with client for ongoing production support
  • Accountable for Open Text product roadmap and release management
  • Ensure project quality and on-time deliverables
  • Manage assignments from conception to completion

Requirements or Qualifications
  • An undergraduate or master's degree in computer science, information management or information technology related discipline.
  • Successful scoping, requirements analysis, implementation and ongoing maintenance of an unstructured content management system, including Web content management, records management, document imaging and workflow, and/or e-mail or content archiving
  • Experience with integration of content management systems is required.
  • Experience with and other enterprise applications like SharePoint, (Siebel, PeopleSoft, Aderant Expert, Cognos would be an added asset)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Livelink ECM or Open Text Content Server 2010.
  • Preferred 3 - 5 years of OpenText Livelink 9.7.1 and/or OpenText Content Server 10 experience
  • Experience configuring three or more OpenText Content Server modules:
    • Records Management,
    • Workflows / Advanced Workflows,
    • LiveReports / Web Reports,
    • Forms,
    • Physical Objects
    • Classifications / RM Classifications
  • Ability to work with both business groups and technical teams
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills using knowledge, experience and understanding of basic architecture and integration concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic
