Job Description

Our client has a requirement for Bilingual Desktop Support Technicians.  This is a contract position until April 2014 located in Ottawa Ontario.

Qualifications

• Must be Fluently Bilingual (French and English)
• Must have valid SECRET security Clearance
•  Must be able to lift a minimum weight of 30lbs (printer)
• 2 years of experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting informatics hardware and software in a large Windows based network (example +500 users)
• 2 years of experience providing technical support and coaching to network account clients on the use of commercial software
• 1 years of experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting RIM Blackberries
• 1 year IM/IT experience within a Government of Canada department/agency.
• 1 year experience Installing and maintaining thin client and peripheral equipment on a Government of Canada Classified Network
• 2 years of experience supporting MS Outlook 2003, MS Office 2010, and Internet Explorer
• 1 years of experience with Microsoft Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop
• 1 year of experience with desk side client telephone hardware maintenance/support
