Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Sr. Network Analyst for a 1 year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary.

Role

Work as part of a telecom support team responsible for the implementation and support of complex data networks in North America within Cisco VoIP/Juniper and Data Network Operations. Activities include all aspects of support from advanced technical troubleshooting; integration and configuration of network products, network hardware/software installations and upgrades; optimization and performance management of the network environment. 

Requirements or Qualifications

Primary Skill Set:

• An Advanced working knowledge of network/Cisco VoIP technologies; Juniper/Cisco CCNA and above or similar experience, (router-serial, E-Net, switch-VLAN, Wireless); Protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, MPLS, Frame relay CAT OS/IOS), Netscout, VPN's, Advanced IP Routing (EIGRP/BGP), Firewall and Cisco ACL. 
• Excellent analytical, problem solving skills. Good writing skill. Adherence to safety policies, security and controls requirements are a must.

Secondary Skill Set:

• Microsoft NT Server/Desktop, QOS.  Netscout

Communication Skills:

• Strong presentation and high quality verbal and written communication.  A strong team orientation, Able to deal with technical and non-technical employees

Nice To Have Skills:

• Experience in network design, MS Access, good understanding of business concepts.
