Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Project Manager - Peoplesoft for 18 months contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, Ontario.

Requirements
  • Senior project/program management experience in large PeopleSoft 9.0 or higher HR/Pay implementations/upgrades.
  • Strong experience working with senior management to provide strategic advice and expertise related to project execution, issues and risk management
  • Strong experience with structured project management methodologies and tools for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and political acuity to manage complex strategic relationships
  • Experience working with and leading other senior project managers, including managing an overall integrated plan and critical path for a large complex transformation initiative.
  • The first phase of the project is to complete a fit/gap analysis, including assessing opportunities to increase self-service functionality and customizations.

  • The Program Manager will be responsible for project management and overarching program management duties in developing and managing the integrated project plan and critical path and ensuring that the team leads and project manager(s) are executing the plan and managing issues and risks appropriately.
  • The overarching program will include:
    • Change & Transformation which includes organizational change management, communications, field engagement and training
    • Business Solutions, which includes business process redesign, fit/gap analysis, design, configuration/ customization, construction (interfaces/reports), unit testing and user acceptance testing
    • Transition to Operations, which includes systems testing, data conversion, business continuity/ disaster recovery, service management including release to production, infrastructure planning and coordination, pilot/go-live coordination and execution
