Job Description

 Our client has a requirement for Three technology Architects –ETL and datastage for contract opportunities.  The positions are located in Ottawa.

Requirements or Qualifications

• Must have Government of Canada secret security Clearance
• Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Technology Architect within an IT Environment.
• Must have a minimum of five years of experience within the last 12 years implementing data warehousing in an Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) environment.
• Must have a minimum of three years of experience within the last eight years using DataStage as the primary tool to acquire data from a Database Management System (example: Mainframe, Sybase, SQL Server) source and to load data into a Data Warehouse environment
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience within the last five years working with IBM DataStage 8.0 or higher.
• Must have a minimum of two years of experience within the last five years scripting within a Unix environment.
• Must have two years of experience within the last five years managing the work schedule and work packages for other Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) developers.

• Must have a minimum of three years working      experience within the last eight years with the IBM DB2 RDBMS (Relational      Database Management System) in a DataStage environment
