Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for SAP Specialist for a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity. The positions are located in London, Ontario


Position requirements include:

* Production support and technical expertise across the client including timely implementation of regulatory changes
* Provide Subject Matter expertise to support and project teams to minimize SAP customization
* Liaise with business counterparts, understands their requirements to achieve The client's Corporate Performance Targets
* Solution design and blue printing to deliver robust business processes considering accepted industry practices
* Configure, Code and Test the system per defined quality standards
* Actively participate in Projects & PMO activities
* Write and maintain necessary system documentation
* Provide service reporting and ad hoc management information as required
* Adhering to all Occupational Health & Safety Act rules and regulations, the E&USA rule book, The client work practices and the client's Health & Safety Management System


Candidates should have extensive knowledge of business processes of Utility Industry and have demonstrated following abilities:

* Configure SAP system
* ABAP coding for enhancements
* Write functional specifications and work with development team for SAP enhancements
* Write technical specifications and work with Subject Matter Expert for SAP enhancements
* Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training
* Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
* Communicate complex and technical issues effectively to business
* Work with a high degree of independence
* Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment


Overall 5 years of experience in SAP and similar applications for Utilities including experience in implementation of one or more of SAP IS-U core processes mentioned below:

* FICA - configuration experience , payment process, dunning, and back-office exception handling
* Billing & Invoicing - Billing master data, Budget billing, joint invoicing, Time of use billing, IDE/EBT
* Bill Print - SAP ISU Bill Print Workbench
* Device Management - meter data management, meter reading processes, AMI, MDUS/ODS
* ABAP - development of ISU objects, events and mass processing, ALE, IDOCs, Smart Form & SAP Scripts, Reports, Workflow
* SAP CRM CIC configuration and enhancement for ISU processes
* PI - development and troubleshoot of interfaces


The successful candidates will have a University Degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent. SAP experience in a Utility or in a deregulated market would be a strong asset.
