Avantis support analysts (BA level 2)

The person will be starting in July and the duration of the assignment will be between 14 and 18 months, but it could be extended based on business needs, etc.

These are the qualifications required and the responsibilities of the role.


Key Qualifications:

•We would like to have someone that either has previous experience using or supporting Avantis (or other Procurement systems/ERP’s or CMMS tool) or knowledge of the Business Process supported by the application (Procurement, Inventory Mgmt, Asset Mgmt). Both would be great.
•Good Troubleshooting and Business Analysis skills (understanding and analyzing client issues/problems or needs, and coming up with solutions and implementing them).
•Excellent communication skills (most of the day will be spent communicating with clients, mostly over the phone or through email).
•Great computer skills (95% of the time spent working on the computer).


Key Responsibilities:

•Perform day-to-day Avantis Business support functions and / or process assistance requests coming through the Remedy system (IS Service Desk);
•Demonstrate a working knowledge of routine business management processes;
•Support the Change Management process by analyzing problems or client requests, identifying solutions, evaluating technical feasibility and cost/benefits and executing the change in the system;
•Respond to requests for data and information;
•Develop or execute reports in MS Excel and Avantis;
•Provide timely response and communication to problem through the ticket system (Remedy).
