Our client has a requirement for Inside Software Asset Manager for a Renewable 12 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Mississauga.

Job Description

Position Summary:

Dedicated telephone based SAM & licenses compliance resource for Microsoft Public Sector. This person is responsible for generating revenue and long term compliance by driving payment for unlicensed usage of Microsoft software.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive for revenue opportunities in the managed and unmanaged account base meeting revenue quota
• Follow up on pending customer orders for license shortfalls
• Drive customer and partner satisfaction through understanding customer needs and helping them acquire the licenses they need
• Identify roadblocks within accounts affecting deployments and engaging resources to remove obstacles
• Proactively engage customers around compliance campaigns
• Proactively drive SAM adoption within customers accounts and through Partners as a way to avoid future non-compliance
• Crisp articulation of the benefits of software asset management and compliance
• Work with CREST on queries regarding Compliance Tool, Tool technical issues & Tool Enhancements
• Update customer end user license information using Microsoft license tools or equivalent
• Establishes good working relationships within SMSP including Tele-Partner Account Managers

Qualifications:

Required experience in the following areas:

· 2+ years of sales experience in IT
· Advanced communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, combined with high levels of organisational ability
· Good understanding of inside sales techniques
· Good knowledge of features, benefits and competitive positioning of Microsoft products specifically Microsoft Licensing
· Proficient in computer systems, in particular experience with navigating Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems an advantage
· Bilingualism an Asset
· Use of CRM Experience (Seibel, Onyx, Pivotal, etc.)
· Must demonstrate leadership abilities and maintain a strategic, visionary outlook
· Software Asset Management Certification an Asset
· Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
