Our client has a requirement for a Technical Specialist; Windows 7 Migration for a 3 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto Ontario.

Role

One of our trusted financial services managers is looking for a Technical Specialist with Windows systems administration and migration experience to join their team to manage a Windows 7 migration project.

Skills and Qualifications

• Windows system administration experience (v.2008, 2012, 7)
• Desktop/Server/Systems migration expertise (specifically Windows 7 would be an  asset, but is not required)
• Experience with coordination and execution of the testing phase of a large roll-out
• Experience with technical troubleshooting
• Team Lead experience
• Experience managing a project
• Must be able to work independently 
• Must have excellent communication; 
• IIS (Internet Information Services) Administration experience
• Linux or Solaris Administration experience 
• Experience with Veritas HA (Veritas Cluster Server)
• Previous financial experience
