Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Technical Analyst for a 3 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Winnipeg.

Role

Senior Technical Analyst to do the following:

• Provide a detailed view of the functionality of SCCM components, and best practices in utilizing the components within an IT environment;
• Provide recommendation and direction on SCCM implementation, including installation and configuration, as well as ongoing operational activities taking into consideration best practices and current Client processes;
• Assist with the installation and configuration of SCCM components basis recommendation and agreed upon direction; and
• Assist with the implementation/migration to W7 environments.

Requirements or Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of SCCM components and best practices in utilizing the components;
• Ability to provide recommendations and direction on SCCM installation and configuration;
• making decisions related to packaging data for distributing to desktops through SCCM;
• WXP to W7 upgrade experience;
• W7 roaming profiles;
• Login scripting (preference in Kix);
• Microsoft Desktop Optimizing Pack with Windows operating system (MDOP UE-V);
• Application remediation for W7 deployment;
• Application packaging for W7 deployment within SCCM;
• Leading and writing technical specifications; and
• Written and verbal communications.
