About the Job

Our client has a requirement for an C++ Trading Platform Developer/Engineer with strong .NET C# experience for a 12 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

This candidate would need to have experience with building an application. This is a one year contract.

Qualifications

• Excellent with C#, .NET, Microsoft SQL Server, WCF, WPF and LINQ. 
• Excellent and 5+ years experience working with object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, parallel computing, database design and algorithms. 
• 5+ years of experience in a developer role within capital markets. 
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and source control systems. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines. 

Preferred

• Experience with strong .NET C# with who has build an application. 
• Experience acting as a developer role during the development of a mortgage trading system 

• University Degree in a technical field (preferred Engineering, Computer Science or Math).

Responsibilities

•  Develop from the ground up a new version of an in-house .NET trading application currently used by several important stakeholders within the organization, including securities traders, credit/market risk managers, accountants and auditors. Due to a recent initiative started to improve the system, there will be many opportunities to design and develop new features and components using exciting new technology. 
• Co-ordinate development, testing and implementation of application changes.
