About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Business Analyst – Level 3 for a 6 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Requirements

CURAM Business Analyst 

• Developing and maintaining a plan to address contract deliverables, through the identification of significant milestones and expected results; with weekly status reporting
• Analyzing and documenting solution complexity and interdependencies by function / track for purpose of effort and cost estimation
• Conducting analysis, designing, creating and executing specific learning activities that are aligned to Cúram work packages
• Participating in business analysis activities for Cúram based applications in the cluster, as required
• Assisting in the development and refinement of KT pathways and learning plans by role for business analysts and testers.
• Conducting Fit-Gap Analysis, Develop System Use Cases and requirement documentation prepared
• Development of specific activities as part of a review, watch, do methodology and building block approach which build on knowledge transfer and skills development from the previous stage with increasing levels of complexity, priority, responsibility and hands on experience
• Development and facilitation of classroom based or virtual instructor demo led sessions for Business Analysts
• Monitoring identified milestones and submission of status reports to ensure Knowledge Transfer activates are on target, and expected results are being met.
• Providing ongoing support to CURAM Business Analysts or Testers

Qualified Candidates will have

• Experience with the vendor fit/gap process in large COTS product implementation
• Experience with user interface design
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate root causes
• Demonstrated ability to create and write functional, use case documents
• Demonstrated experience conducting presentations and lead Cúram Business Analyst Training Knowledge Sessions
• Analysis of business requirements with the goal of minimal customization to the product
• Creation of solutions and associated functional design specifications, ensuring traceability to requirements
• Provide work effort estimates
• Working experience with SharePoint, Adobe Connect Pro, MS Office Suite, Cúram doc centre, Cúram Impact and Relationship Analyzer (CIARA), Cúram Reference Model, Power Designer, Rational RequisitePro  
• Knowledge of Business Process flow
• Desirable - Knowledge and experience with Cúram Workflow and Rules and other Cúram modules including but not limited to Financial Management, Outcome Management, Provider Management and Child Care Services
• Familiarity with databases and understand database schemas, preferably Oracle
• Strong understanding of various Cúram COTS configuration options including cases, organization structure, security, evidences, approvals, user interfaces and financials
• Understanding defect management and triage.
• Strong background on understanding data migration issues dealing with very huge and diverse sets of data from different systems.
• Demonstrated communication skills, written, verbal, and active listening skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience working with all levels within an organization, and understanding business priorities
