About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Datastage Developer   for  a 3 month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto.

Role

This position will focus on ETL design, development and support. The candidate will be responsible for ETL activities involving projects, enhancement tasks and support. Provide technical assistance, understand business requirements, interpret and transform data as per requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years experience with DataStage 8.x
Proficient with DB2 database and good data modeling skills
Strong SQL experience
Experience with AIX operating Systems

Nice To Have

Knowledge of Mainframe z/os and JCL scripting
Experience with SAS development on mainframe

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level ETL design
• Develop, code, document and execute unit test, system integration and provide user acceptance testing support
• Ensure change management process is followed when implementing changes through environment
• Participate in projects, enhancement tasks and provide technical support
• Collaborate with various IT Teams
