Job Description

Our Federal Government client has a requirement for a Project Manager for a multi-year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Ottawa’s National Capital Region (NCR).   The Project Manager will be working on a large-enterprise wide-project that will modernize services and capitalize on new tools to support common processes that will in turn simplify and automate existing processes. This is an SAP based project operating on a service model which will deliver integrated solutions for human resources (capital) management, finance and materiel management, asset management, investment management, data integrity, personnel security, procurement functions and information technology (IT), all leveraging the capabilities of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Requirement or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

• 10 years experience as a Project Manager
• Valid PWGSC Enhanced Reliability security clearance
• 2 years of experience within the last 8 years working on Canadian Federal Government SAP projects that included resource management, scheduling, financial management and reporting using MS-Project
• 3 years experience working with the Government of Canada approved SAP footprint
• 3 years experience working with SAP version ECC 6.0 as a Project Manager
• 3 years experience as a Project Manager on projects that utilized SAP Solution Manager
• 2 years experience within the last 5 years working as an Project Manager on a new SAP implementation project which required integration between SAP and any of the following legacy systems: Human resources, Financial, or Material Management.

Desired Qualifications

• PMP OR PRINCE 2 Certification
• SAP Certification (any)
• Previous project management experience on a large scale project valued over $10 million
• Previous project experience in the development and maintenance of risk and issues management processes and procedures in support of projects
