Job Description

Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate .Net Developer to join their software development team. This is a permanent role located in South Ottawa and the experienced candidate will be developing web-based solutions in a team environment; gathering, interpreting and implementing business requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing modern web-based solutions.
• Experience with Object-Oriented (OO) programming.
• Experience with Visual Studio 2012/2010/2008, C#, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, XML/XSLT/XAML.
• Experience with Microsoft .Net framework 4.0+, ASP.Net 4.0, WPF, MVC 3.0+, ASMX/WCF web service, Silverlight 4.0+.
• Experience with ADO.Net entity frameworks and LINQ.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2005 and Oracle 10g+ in views, stored procedures and functions.
• UX and UI design experience is an asset
