About the Job
Our client has a requirement for a Risk Management Consultant for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Mississauga, ON.

Role
The successful candidate will assist management and staff in achieving a high standard of compliance and operational excellence by providing solutions that will enhance both the customer and employee experience. This role will be integral in promoting and proactively improving the control environment within Direct Channels. 

Responsibilities
  • Assist the technology partners in the interpretation of policy, risk, compliance, fraud prevention and operating procedures
  • Conducting pRCSA (process Risk and Control Assessments)
  • Creating process mapping
  • Identifying inherent risk
  • Control identification and assessment
  • Act as a liaison between the technology and Internal Audit to aid in creating solutions to findings and documenting management’s response
  • Responsible for providing a broad range of risk/control analysis, PCI Guidance, reporting and/or support to business partners
  • Acting as a specialist in providing guidance/advice on a range of risk related matters
  • Adherence to in-house governance standards, compliance to local laws and regulations
  • Provide supporting documentation and tracking for audit purposes
  • Makes recommendations for improvements

Requirements or Qualifications
  • 6+ years Risk Assessment experience
  • 6+ years Process writing experience
  • 6+ years IT Audit experience
  • Banking Experience is an asset
  • Working with technology teams is an asset
    PCI is an asset
  • Strong communication skills - oral & written
