Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Storage and Infrastructure Solutions Architect based in New York City, less than one mile south of Central Park. This is a permanent placement opportunity with an exceptional employer.

Requirement or Qualifications

Ideal candidate should possess:

• extensive experience supporting HP Hardware and Software with an emphasis on Enterprise Level Architecture and Solutions. 
• Strong pre-sales technical support, evaluation, sizing, configuration and design are a must.
• Candidate must be technically adept with a variety of competitive SAN hardware and software platforms, especially storage connectivity and storage from HP (EVA, 3PAR, P4000, D2D, Storage Server and X9000).

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct Hardware & Software Assessments.
• Supported the sales team in solution identification, system sizing, and competitive research in configuring SANS, Blade, Storage Connectivity, Virtualization, Disaster      Recovery, Data Migration and Data Center Infrastructure.
• Digital Storage and Server Pre-Sales, SAN architecture, Information disaster recovery.
• Perform consulting, engineering, and implementation for high-availability, 24/7 production environments as well as mission-critical command and control operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the TCP/IP protocol suite and the inherent vulnerabilities
• Possess an encompassing knowledge of server based communication and OS vulnerabilities over multiple platforms (windows/Unix/Linux)

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• MS Office Product Experience
• In depth specialized knowledge of concerts, processes and activities
• Advanced and specialized expertise in multiple technologies developed through training and experience
• Subject Matter Expert in area of Active Directory and Red Hat directory server
• Applies advanced analytical interpretation and problem solving

Required Experience Includes

• HP Storage Master ASE Certification
• HP Server Master ASE Certification
• 10+ years experience in complex storage solutions design and installation management.
• Proficient use of Windows, Unix, Linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of virtualized computing and virtualized storage
