Our client has a requirement for a  MS Access Database Developer  for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

One of our trusted Financial Services clients is looking for a Microsoft Access Database Developer for a 6 month contract. The team has manual work that is in MS Excel format that needs to be automated and put into an Access database. This individual should come from a financial background and have Capital Markets product knowledge; specifically front-office exposure and trading application (Calypso) experience.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience developing in MS Access
• Expertise in the design, build and configuration of a Microsoft Access Database
• 2-5 years of experience developing with Excel and VBA
• Strong VBA, Access and Excel development knowledge
• Financial background and Capital markets product knowledge
• Trading application experience; specifically Calypso experience
• Process knowledge – Front-office, Middle-office, pricing, valuations, P&L, trading life cycle
• Front-office exposure
