Job Description
Our client has a requirement for a Senior SAP Accounts Receivable (SAP FI/AR) ERP Functional Analyst to help in the implementation of SAP FI/AR and provide ongoing client support. The position is located in Ottawa and is for long term contract with the Federal Government. The resource will be expected to support departmental cash receipts processing and customized interfaces to and from the departments existing Legacy Systems. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and expertise in configuring SAP financial accounting and accounts receivable business processes based on SAP best practices.

Qualified Candidates will have
- 10+ years of recent experience working as an ERP Functional Analyst
- 8+ years of experience as a SAP Functional Analyst.
- 5+ years of experience in performing full configuration and implementation of an SAP Financial Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Must be Bilingual in English and French
- Must have a valid SAP FI certification
- Must have a Security clearance of Enhanced Reliability or higher
- Experience working with the Government of Canada approved SAP footprint pertaining to SAP Financial -Accounts Receivables (FI-AR).
- Demonstrated experience working with SAP ERP version 6
- Experience on projects specific to the cash journal functionality in SAP.
- Experience on one or more projects developing the functional specifications in support of custom interfaces to legacy systems.
- Demonstrate experience in performing Fit/Gap analysis, Blueprinting and Design on an SAP project.
- Experience as a SAP Financial AR Functional Analyst, performing one or more of the following tasks on an SAP project:
- Master Data design
- Develop a Business Process Master List
- Define SAP enterprise structures 4. Configure development environment
- Prepare functional design specifications
- Plan and Conduct functional testing
- Prepare Supporting Documentation
- Provide Data Conversion Support
- Provide Cut Over Support
- Provide ongoing support.
