Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Senior SAP Asset Accounting Specialist for a multiple year contract opportunity.  The position is located in Ottawa-Gatineau area.  The SAP Assest Account Specialist will be working on a large-enterprise wide-project that will modernize services and capitalize on new tools to support common processes that will in turn simplify and automate existing processes. This is an SAP based project operating on a service model which will deliver integrated solutions for human resources (capital) management, finance and materiel management, asset management, investment management, data integrity, personnel security, procurement functions and information technology (IT), all leveraging the capabilities of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Requirement or Qualifications

• 10 years experience as an ERP Functional Analyst;
• 8 years of experience within the last 15 years working on SAP Asset Accounting Specialist;
• 4 years experience configuring and implementing SAP Asset Accounting;
• 3+ projects with accounting and managementwhich includes financial management and monitoring processes as well as capital asset lifecycle managementfunctionality in SAP;
• 3 years experience working with SAP ERP version 6;
• Valid PWGSC Enhanced Reliability security clearance;
• Valid SAP certification (any); and
• 3+ projects that demonstrate experience in performing Fit/Gapanalysis and Blueprinting.
