About the Job

Our client has a requirement for an IT Analyst for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Scarborough Ontario

Skills

• Computer imaging* 5 years 
• Windows XP migrating to Windows 7 * 5 years 
• GPO Experience * 5 years 
• Travel: Must have own reliable transportation to travel between sites (Peterborough , Etobicoke, North York and downtown Toronto) 
• Must be able to lift up 20 kgs 
• Bilingual is an asset 
• College Diploma in computer science 
• 5 years experience in a service environment to users 
• Experience in installation and configuration of workstations and software 
• Technical knowledge of equipment Dell and Lenovo; 
• Technical knowledge of HP and Xerox 
• Experience operating system: Windows XP Workstation; Windows 7 
• Knowledge of network operating system Windows 2003 with Active Directory
• Knowledge in the following office software: Office Suite, Outlook, Internet Explorer; 

COMPUTER IMAGING 

Responsibilities

• Mainly work on Asset refresh program (Obsolete Computers replacement)
• Perform configuration of equipment (computers, printers, etc.) 
• Perform installation and customization of software, approved by the department, according to established procedures
• Troubleshoot users to keep them productive and achieve the service level (SLA - Service Level Agreement) the department 
• Ask clear diagnostic of faults that will support the members of the oher levels to solve problems
• May be required to perform other related responsibilities as needed 
• Provides the first level of support for the proper use of equipment available to users (personal computers, software,etc..,)
• Poses clear diagnostic of faults that will support the members of the other levels to solve problems. 
• Carries out installations, configurations and removal of equipment (telephones, computers, printers, modems, etc..)
• performs installations and software customization. 
• It documents every call in the application making calls.
• It contributes to the achievement of service level (SLA - Service Level Agreement) department.
