Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for multiple Senior Architects for a 7 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Winnipeg Manitoba.


Requirement or Qualifications:


Qualified Candidates will have:


Required:

1.Proven skills in designing and delivering multi-platform solutions
2.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
3.Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
4.Proven ability to write effective documentation that is clear and meaningful to its target audience
5.Effective communication and internal consulting skills with a strong customer service orientation
6.Effective planning and organizational skills

Desirable:
1.Experience with vendor solution deployments would be a definite asset


Level of expertise required:

•Minimum of ten years experience in application development or systems integration
•Broad knowledge of industry technology and directions, and specific technical knowledge in more than one technology domain, including service-oriented architecture, data management, ERP, web computing, handheld computing, and systems integration
•Demonstrate the ability to model and engineer system solutions of high risk or complexity
•Broad knowledge of industry technology and directions
•Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment


Key Accountabilities:

You will be is closely involved in the construction of the solution, ensures all components are properly implemented, and acts as focal point for technology issues throughout all phases of the project. Key responsibilities are:

•Provides project leadership within the team for the technology direction and definition of I.S. solutions to meet business requirements
•Designing business application systems to deliver the required functionality, and also the needed reliability, recoverability, accessibility, maintainability, manageability, performance, security, integrity, and adaptability
•Designing the integration of business software into a complex system of applications and infrastructure in a multi-company shared environment
•Operate within the framework of enterprise architecture and technology standards.
•Ensure compliance to standards, defining direction, managing issue resolution and escalation
•Providing leadership within the I.S. Division to advance its capabilities to deliver services, including identifying opportunities for, and ensuring the continual improvement of, our methods, tools and techniques, plus mentoring others, and continuously learning through experience and education
