Job Description
Our GTA client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This is a renewable 6 month contract located in Toronto. This position will require some travel within Ontario and occasional flexible work hours. You must have access to reliable transportation.
Responsibilities and Skills:
Managing the implementation of the transition methodology and framework within each project. In this role the Transition Project Manager will identify the requirements for transition activities and business processes for internal and external customers in support of the transition goals and objectives and ensure the success of the projects.
Experience transitioning a Solution (preferably MIS) to ongoing sustainability in health sector
Strong understanding and demonstrated success of delivering tools in to the community health sector
Demonstrated experience managing a software vendor in the health care environment
Strong understanding of Healthcare transition projects
Experience project management from inception to completion (i.e. PMP and/or 3-5 years equivalent project management experience)
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills
Strong relationship development and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated experience meeting aggressive timelines
Ability to balance issue resolution with timely management escalation
Experience leading project resources, providing delegation and direction
Developing and maintaining detailed project plan and project records, and supporting documentation
