Our client has a requirement for Project Coordinator for a 6 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Job Description
Our client's Information Technology department is looking for a qualified Project Coordinator to assist multiple Project Managers in the management of key system implementation projects.
Scope
The Project Coordinator's duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
•Track and report on projects from conception through implementation
•Track and update detailed project plans
•Track planned tasks versus actual, escalating potential risks to the Project Manager
•Provide assistance to the Project Manager in planning, analysis, design, development, evaluating, testing, prioritizing and implementation of project deliverables
•Maintain and track actions and issues log
•Follow-up with project team members on project tasks
•Schedule and coordinate meetings, minute meetings, as required
•Track project costs and report on variances, notify project manager of any issues as they arise
•Provide overall management of contractual agreements and relationships with contractors
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have:
•3+ years experience directly providing project management support services including, monitoring and tracking complex IT project plans
•Demonstrated experience providing project management support services
•Experience with a standard systems development life cycle
•PMBOK knowledge
•PMP Certification, an asset
•Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
•Knowledge of operational procedures in a distribution, retail, sales and marketing, and/or financial environment and general IT/business trends
•Ability to multitask, prioritize and escalate tasks appropriately
•Ability to track and follow-up on project tasks, identify potential problems and articulate potential solutions
•Results oriented, with excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal/team skills, problem solving abilities
