Our client has a requirement for Project Manager for a 8 months Contract opportunity. The positions are located in Calgary, Alberta

Scope of Work / Responsibilities:

The role is that of Project Specialist. The key responsibility will be to provide our Focused Care program to specific projects in the IS PMO portfolio. This involves providing coaching and mentoring to project managers with regards to appropriate use of the IS PMO project processes and standards. The Project Specialist will also review and provide guidance regarding the quality of key project management deliverables such as project plans (including schedule, budget, resource plan), project statements, project status updates. The Project Specialist will be asked to facilitate team sessions such as risk management planning, requirements prioritization, development of Team Norms, lessons learned, retrospectives, etc. There may also be some work on enhancing existing IS PMO templates and processes.
