Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Multiple Intermediate Systems Analysts for a 7 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba

Requirement or Qualifications:

1.Solid analytical and problem solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving
2.Functional systems analysis & design
3.Requirements management
4.Familiarity with Use Cases and Use Case modeling
5.Ability to consume logical data models, business process models and object models
6.Good understanding of I.S. methodologies, process and practices
7.Strong written and verbal communication
8.Strong understanding of technology /information systems
9.Effective planning and organizational skills
10.Good facilitation skills
11.Knowledge of testing processes and practices


Desirable:

12. SQL

13. MS Access

14. U M L


Level of expertise required:

•Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in business/systems analysis
•Degree in related discipline (Commerce/Management Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.)
•Good understanding of business
•Communicates in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbal, that is appropriate for the audience;
•Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment;
•Ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure;


Key Accountabilities:

You will maintain a "business perspective" through all phases of the problem resolution and systems enhancement. You will work closely with your Business Partners to understand their business needs, opportunities and requirements. Working in a team environment, you will be responsible for:

•Contributing to the definition of or maintaining business architecture through conceptual business models
•Performing business and systems analysis and design, articulating the logical design alternatives and recommending appropriate solutions
•Performing functional analysis and design, defining and documenting detailed business requirements
•Ensure adequate testing, and that the system meets business expectations
•Contributing to training strategies and business implementation planning
•Providing leadership to business partners and team members
