About the Job

Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for an Intermediate Cisco IPT/VoIP Support Specialist for a 36 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Calgary.


Role:

As a Level 2 Cisco IPT/VoIP Account Focal, your primary responsibility is the technical lead for troubleshooting and driving VoIP problems to resolution on your assigned account. In addition, you will ensure that all the information required by the team, to support a customer account, is available and complete. This includes updating the documentation in applicable Sharepoints, documenting and maintaining process flows, escalation paths, and contact lists.

You will also be responsible for account reporting as appropriate to the Level 2 VoIP team and mentoring other analysts on your account. You will also be required to attend account based meetings on behalf of the team.


Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

•4 to 6 years of Industry experience supporting Cisco VoIP infrastructure
•Demonstrated knowledge of Ethernet, ADSL, ISDN, POTS
•Strong TCP/IP knowledge in Subnetting, DHCP, DNS
•College Diploma in IT, Computer Studies or Engineering
•CCNA +Voice certification is required, CCVP preferred.
