Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for Senior J2EE Architect for a 3 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.


Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

Our GTA client is looking for a Consultant who will be responsible for providing the following Services and Deliverables:

Produce Architecture artefacts as required by the gating and Architecture review process;

•Application design;
•Participation in requirement, design and problem solving sessions;
•Actively support the completion of the gating and Architecture review process for VISION system; including presentations, status report, review sessions with PLC architects.


Must Have Skills:

•Expertise in J2EE technology;
•Expertise in documenting and design with UML using Rational Rose and RSA, including:
•Knowledge of Zachman framework including business/information/application/technology/security architectures experience with OPS Enterprise Architecture Approval (ACT/ARB) and IT Gating process;
•Experience with enterprise technical/application architecture;
•Successfully completed enterprise and full technical architectures in government settings or similar complex, multi-project/multi-client organizations;
•WebSphere Application Server 5.1 and 6.1;
•Rational Software Architect 6 and 7;
•Experience in business processes and document them;
•Design and development methodology; and
•Object oriented design and development.
•System security:· Using Java security and integrating security components with applications;
•WebSphere 6.1 administrationDatabase technology;
•Oracle 9i, 10i;
•SQL;
•JDBC.
