Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Permanent job opportunity as a Technical Support Specialist in Kanata. The Technical Support specialist is expected to provide second level technical support for all of our client’s practices.  They will be responsible for troubleshooting a wide variety of technical issues including networking, databases and their product application. This role also includes installing and supporting integrations between their product and third party EMR products.

Requirements or Qualifications
  • Experience in a Technical Support or Implementation role in the  IT industry (3-5 years)
  • College or university degree and/or equivalent related work experience as a Support specialist
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Basic sales skills – presentations, closing, objection handling
  • End user training experience
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Exposure to wireless and web applications
  • Working experience using  XML, CSV, SQL and HL7
